Meet your English-speaking chauffeur-guide at Bandaranaike International Airport and travel to nearby Negombo. Check in, relax after your flight, and enjoy the coastal atmosphere or an easy introductory walk depending on your arrival time.

After breakfast, travel through the countryside towards Sigiriya. Pause for refreshments along the way, arrive in the Cultural Triangle, check in and enjoy a relaxed evening surrounded by nature.

Travel into Sri Lanka’s central highlands via Ramboda, passing waterfalls and rolling tea estates. Visit a working tea factory and plantation before reaching the cool hill station of Nuwara Eliya.

Transfer to Nanu Oya railway station and board the celebrated hill-country train to Ella, subject to seat availability. Enjoy mountain scenery, tea-covered slopes and small villages before checking in at Ella.
